It is possible to go further with this strategy. When you publish a new photo and you want to indicate a link, write that it is in your biography like this at the end of your description with hashtags: “Link in bio”.

Obviously, you will have previously changed the link in the biography for the one you want to share.

First, you need to know exactly what position 0 is. This Google content is called Answer Box or Featured snippet.

In general, the following types of formats perform well:

  • The lists (OL and UL),
  • The short paragraphs (40 to 50 words)
  • The data in table.

Also make sure to use your titles well.

WEB Mauritius: Google Inc. became Alphabet!

Monday, August 10, the Mountain View company announced a major change – and surprise – of its corporate structure. The search engine will become a subsidiary of a new entity, called Alphabet. The latter will be led by Larry Page, co-founder and current CEO of Google. Sergey Brin, the second founder, will serve as president. Eric Schmidt will be executive chairman, a position he already held at Google. The company is publicly traded, instead of the previous one.

“Alphabet is a collection of companies”, Page says in a message posted on the official Google blog. “Google is the largest. But this new Google will be alleviated. Remote Internet companies of our main products are now grouped in Alphabet. “Concretely, this means a clear separation between the business heart of Google and all supplemental projects. This is Google X (futuristic projects), Calico (health), Sidewalk Labs (city logistics), Nest (connected objects) Fiber (fiber) and Google and Google Ventures Capital (investment).

The new Google retain search engine, advertising activities, the YouTube video platform, the mobile operating system Android, the Maps mapping, Gmail and other Internet services and mobile applications. WEB DESIGN: Edge the new browser from Microsoft!

Edge is the new Microsoft browser (code name: Spartan). It will be released with Windows 10 whose launch is announced for July 29. The publisher has Edge as a new generation of browser, powerful, innovative, and especially designed for the modern web. It is already possible to test it in beta by downloading the Windows 10 desktop Preview, or Windows 10 beta Mobile (designed for smartphones and tablets). Edge will not replace Microsoft Internet Explorer completely, but will be offered as an alternative to it. It will be integrated with Windows 10 alongside IE that will remain present in the desktop version of the OS.

A browser that is more efficient than Chrome and Firefox

Microsoft insists on the optimization work conducted around the motor of its browser. Objective: To accelerate the implementation of websites, including improved JavaScript JIT compiler Chakra. According to the publisher, the optimization allow Edge to go well beyond the JavaScript execution performance of Chrome and Firefox. In support of its analysis, it highlights the results recorded by the browser during the Jet Stream tests (developed by Apple) and Octane 2.0 (proposed by Google).

The results of the Jet Stream test states that Microsoft Edge runs web applications 1.6 times faster than Internet Explorer 11. According Octane test, it would even be 2 times more efficient in this exercise as its predecessor. Both comparisons were made with a variation of browserst on an HP machine (equipped with Windows 10) with 12 GB of RAM and a next generation processor (Intel Core i7 860 CPU clocked at 2.80GHz).

Cortana Integration

Microsoft has also integrated the browser Cortana. Limited for now to the beta of Microsoft Edge in the US version of Windows 10, the personal voice assistant allows particularly the pushing of content associated with current web page view. If it is the site of a company, Cortana may propose a route to the office of that company from your location, associated content, or trace a contact of this company you have saved in your phone book.

Support extensions

Another major change compared to Internet Explorer was announced: Microsoft Edge will support the extensions. In April, the group hit hard by announcing that extensions designed for Firefox and Chrome can be worn under Edge with minor changes.

And for web site developers?

Initially, Microsoft Edge must be fitted with the MSHTML rendering engine (based on Trident), to ensure browser compatibility with sites designed for older versions of IE. This is what Microsoft has indicated in a post published on January 22. It will eventually be the case. In a post on 24 March, Microsoft said it had changed its mind. Edge will be limited to EdgeHTML new engine designed by the American group to support the latest web standards. The publisher also emphasizes the work of its teams to support these standards “on the model of other modern browsers.”

HTML or “Hypertext Mark-Up Language” is a “marking” language whose role is to formalize writing a document with formatting tags. The language is nowadays most commonly used in the creation of webpages. The tags allow you to specify how the document should be presented and the relationship it has with other documents.
The tags used are written in between angle braces. For example, <html>.

HTML allows the playback of documents on the Internet from different computers, thanks to the HTTP protocol, allowing access via the network to documents identified by a unique address, called a URL.
The World Wide Web (WWW for short), or simply Web is a “virtual canvas” formed by the various documents (called “web pages”) linked together by means of hyperlinks.
Web pages are usually organized around a home page, playing a central point in the navigation using hyperlinks. This coherent set of web pages linked by hyperlinks and centered around a common home page is called web site.
The Web is a huge living archive composed of a myriad of websites offering web pages that may contain formatted text, images, sounds, video, etc.

The web is composed of web pages stored on web servers which are machines constantly connected to the Internet and loaded to provide the requested web pages. Each of the web pages, and more generally any online resource (image, video, music, entertainment, etc.) is identified by a unique URL.

HTML standard
It is important to understand that HTML is a standard, that is, the tags are recommendations published by an international consortium: the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
The official HTML specifications therefore describe the “instructions” HTML but in no case their implementation, that is, their translation into computer programs to allow web pages regardless of the consultation of the operating system or computer architecture.
However since not all browsers are the same, the same web page can be displayed differently depending on the browser the user is using, thus affecting user experience.
Also, sometimes some software publishers add proprietary HTML instructions which are not part of the W3C specifications. Web pages containing this type of instruction pages can be perfectly displayed on a browser and will be fully or partly illegible to others, hence the need to create web pages following the W3C recommendations to increase user experience.

HTML Versions
HTML was originally developed by Tim Berners-Lee, a researcher at CERN in 1989. This officially announced the creation of the Web on Usenet in August 1991. The web browser used back then was named NCSA Mosaic.
RFC 1866, dated November 1995 is the first official version of HTML, HTML 2.0.

After the brief appearance of HTML 3.0, which was never formally established, HTML 3.2 became the official standard on January 14, 1997. The most significant contributions of the HTML 3.2 were the standardization of tables as well as a large number of presentation elements.

On 18 December 1997, HTML 4.0 was published. Version 4.0 of HTML including standardized style sheets and frames (frames). HTML 4.01, appeared on the 24th of December 1999 making minor modifications to HTML 4.0.

HTML 5

HTML 5.0 was specified in 2012. Version 5.0 of HTML DOM defines two syntax: HTML5 and XHTML5. This version brings new opportunities in terms of creating “rich Web applications” benefiting from the integration of multimedia elements and interactivity, like Adobe Flash or Microsoft Silverlight.
